The farm "Il Sughero" is situated in the heart of Tuscany in the region of Maremma which is one of the most natural and uncontaminated  areas of  Europe.

Francesco & Antonia more than 20 years ago decided to leave city life behind and move to  the beautiful corner of Maremma.

They have reconstructed the farm house with great passion, determination while  respecting the environment of  this rustic home, retaing the characteristics of the tipical country houses of Tuscany.

They have created the ideal place for those people seeking peace  and serenity far away from the unbridled life of the city: in fact the house is encircled by approximately 14 hectares of land  dedicated to the cultivations of cereals, olives and grapes, between secular oaks and cork trees.

Antonia and Francesco dedicate themselves to the production of  the fruits of  the earth, in particular from the olives the exquisite extra virgin oil and  from the grapes (Sangiovese, Merlot and Shiraz )the D.o.c wine of Montecucco.  These and many other typical products can be tasted and purchased during your stay on the farm.

The vinification is carried out in the wine cellar of the farm, it’s possible to participate  in the grape and olive harvest.
